Work experience:

  • I co-owned a small construction company specializing in wall finishes, Adobe restoration, and interior design, which gave me extensive experience in project management, contracting, budgeting, and collaborating with industry professionals.
  • At Ikea San Diego, I was responsible for interior design, adapting roomsets to fit the store, implementing visual merchandising directives, project management, and collaborating with teams at the store location and headquarters.
  • At REI in San Diego, I led visual merchandising and opened new stores, implementing HQ directives for floorsets, sales setups, fixture placement, and product placement, while collaborating with vendors and serving as the new store opening Team Lead. After the early 2020 shutdown, I reorganized the store layout to meet COVID-19 protocols in 10 days.
